This study aims to explain the Analysis of the Use of Shopee Paylater on the Consumptive Lifestyle of Santri with the impacts it causes, the laws of its use, and prevention efforts. This study uses a qualitative approach and data collection using interview methods and in-depth field observations of the research subjects. Shopee Paylater is an additional feature provided by the Shopee Application which aims for service users who do not have a Shopee Pay balance or do not have funds so that they can shop on the Shopee Application easily and quickly. Fiqh muamalah means everything where someone can exchange property as long as the property is useful and based on Islamic law principles. The principles of Islamic law can be based on the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma', and Qiyas. If in Indonesia currently, apart from the four sources of Islamic law, there is one additional legal basis, namely the Fatwa of the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council. The impact that can be felt by Shopee Paylater users is the convenience offered by Shopee in the form of capital to buy goods in the Shopee application which is lent to its users. The views of the Ulama' on the law of using Shopee Paylater are: allowing the use of the Shopee Paylater method in online purchases in accordance with Islamic law and this permission can be limited by the use of credit facilities. The law can be haram when used for things that violate sharia law. And the contract used in Shopee Paylater is the Murabahah Contract. Efforts to Prevent a Consumptive Lifestyle Due to the Use of Shopee Pay Later, include: students who are excessive in using the Shopee Paylater feature will be subject to Counseling Guidance from the Management Supervisor and will be subject to restrictions on the use of Mobile Phones in accordance with the Pesantren regulations.
