Abstract

Madura Retail Outlet is a familiar and easily found store in the community. The store provides various necessities needed by the community. The uniqueness of Madura Retail Outlet lies in its 24-hour operating hours, even though its size is not too big. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the Competitive Strategy of Madura Retail Outlet in Gempol Village Based on the Islamic Economic Perspective. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research location is Madura Retail Outlet, Gempol Village, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency. There are 4 informants in this study. The results of the study show that the work ethic culture of the Madurese people is very excellent. This can be seen from the enthusiasm for working in building a business. Madura Retail Outlet is open 24 hours and the products provided are also very complete. In addition, the service provided is also very good. The sellers are very friendly, honest, and trustworthy. This is following with the principles of Islamic Economics.
